Defending champion of Spain David Ferrer and Nicolas Almagro took a 2-0 lead in semifinal against US team in Davis Cup on Friday.
The Spanish Ferrer started the game little consciously, afterward he overcame him and defeat Sam Querrey in the best-of-five series with 4-6, 6-2, 6-2, 6-4. On the other side Almagro of Spain defeats John Isner’s of US by 6-4, 4-6, 6-4, 3-6, 7-5.
Today’s double match of Mike Bryan and Bob Bryan is very important for US; both brothers will defend America against Marcel Granollers and Marc Lopez. The Bryan brothers were 4-0 when the US was facing a 2-0 shortfall, and was 5-0 in opposition to Spain.
As Rafael Nadal is unavailable for Davis cup, therefore Ferrer and Almagro proved that they could lead Spain as the pair better.

Ferrer started well with a break but finally gave up his two service games for defending champions.
Since 2010 this is Querrey first Davis Cup, and it is unsuccessful for him to keep his early pace.
In another match Isner netted on back to back points to give Almagro his final match point.
Earlier Isner also beat Roger Federer of Switzerland and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga of France in US to come into the Asturian city with a 4-0 record this season. But the American, who is well-known for having played the longest match in tennis history, fallen to 0-3 in five-set Davis Cup matches.
Five times champion Spain is protecting their back to back streak of 23 home wins in the competition, a line that is started in 1999. The winner will play against Argentina or the Czech Republic in November in the tournament final.
