The redesign will offer users a more professional look and will make it easier to navigate their homepage by allowing them access to the most relevant content. Groupon, Inc. (NASDAQ:GRPN): GRPN is the second-largest daily deal company. LivingSocial has launched their first product sales business and this move will create a new competitor for Groupon Inc.’s goods business in market. Zynga, Inc. (NASDAQ:ZNGA): Zynga generates a significant portion of its revenue from Facebook gamers and the stock fell on Tuesday, dropping 6.83% to $4.50. Shares of Zynga traded down $0.17 (3.52%), they were recently at $4.66.
Yelp, Inc. (NYSE:YELP): Yelp Inc is a direct competitor of Taste Savant. The highly curated restaurant discovery site has announced the launch of their New York City Public Beta site: http://www.tastesavant.com. The Taste Savant can help the savvy diner decide where to eat out and the site is unique because it curates and combines restaurant reviews from sources that diners trust such as restaurant critics, friends, bloggers, etc. Shares of Yelp traded up $1.64 (7.65%), they were recently at $23.07.
