Philip Morris International increases quarterly dividend, Procter & Gamble recognizes best business partners

Philip Morris International Inc. (NYSE:PM) recently disclosed that company’s Board of Directors approved an increment in the Philip Morris regular quarterly dividend by 10.4%. This increment leads to an annualized rate of $3.40 per share.

The said dividend is payable on October 11, 2012, to shareholders of record as of September 27, 2012. Philip Morris ex-dividend date is September 25, 2012. Stockholders will now have new quarterly dividend of $0.85 per share which previously was $0.77 per share.

Consumer GoodsPhilip Morris is the world famous tobacco company. It makes seven of the world’s top 15 international brands, including Marlboro.

The US based company did well on the trading floors. During the last day trade, it closed $89.48 after reducing nearly 0.78%. Company’s 52 week range remained $ 60.45 to $93.6 with its market capitalization touching $150.84 billion.

Philip Morris International Inc. (NYSE:PM)’s monthly share price volatility is  1.53% while in assets turnover rates its ROA remained 24.92% with return on equity at 754.84%. However company’s current share price is above its 52 week low by 52.22% and below from its 52 week high by 4.4%. Phillip Morris holds nearly 1.69 billion shares outstanding while its shares float touches nearly 1.68 billion.

The Procter & Gamble Company (NYSE:PG), the world famous FMCGs (fast moving commodities and goods) manufacturer, recently held a ceremony to recognize its top performing external business partners. The awards ceremony was celebrated at P&G’s annual External Business Partner Summit.

The meeting was honored by leaders from P&G and nearly 400 of company’s most strategic external business partners for two days of planning and recognition.

Procter & Gamble Company (NYSE:PG)’s monthly share price volatility is  0.77% while in assets turnover rates its ROA remained 6.89% with return on equity at 13.83%.  In addition company’s current share price is above its 52 week low by 18.55% and below from its 52 week high by 0.26%. PG holds nearly 2.76 billion shares outstanding while its shares float touches nearly 2.76 billion.
